The Altavinis VAV wine dispensers form a system which is flexible (can be extended as required), requires only little maintenance and is easy to use. During actuation of a dispenser, inert gas replaces the volume of the wine being poured from the bottle and thus protecting the remaining contents from unwanted oxidation. This preserves quality, aroma and freshness of the wine.
Altavinis VAV dispensers are made for ambitious wine lovers, for serving by the glass in the catering trade and also for wine merchants, vinotheques and wineries, who can use them to offer higher quality wines for tasting without risk. Serving and preserving has never been so easy.
The Altavinis range includes individual dispensers (which can be expanded to extensive wine serving systems) and beautiful, lovingly assembled "wine by the glass" solutions. The VAV 3 and 5 models come with a wooden box made of solid oak to house the gas cartridge and the pressure reducer. The patented dispensers are connected to flexible hoses with quick-release couplings. The tapping spout of each dispenser can be directed either forwards or backwards, according to the position of the operator. Also available is an elegantly designed cooling pack to be attached on top of the box.
